Why fuel & convenience are different
A fuel site has a hazard no other property has: the canopy. Snow melts off the roof, runs to the drip line, and refreezes in a band exactly where customers stand to pump. It forms overnight, it forms again after every thaw, and it will not appear on a plow route because no snow fell. Treating the drip line on its own schedule is the single highest-value thing anyone does on a gas station in winter.

What is the biggest winter hazard at a fuel site?
The canopy drip line. Meltwater runs off the roof and refreezes in a band right where customers stand at the pumps, and it forms on clear nights when no snow has fallen. It is treated on its own schedule for exactly that reason.
Can you work around the pumps without a shutdown?
Yes. Islands are cleared by skid steer and by hand rather than by truck, so we work between them without closing lanes. A pickup plow cannot do that work cleanly and should not be trying.
We are open 24 hours. When do you come?
